Stio Listen Terms of Service

Agreement and eligibility
These terms govern your use of Stio Listen. By using the app or website, you agree to them. You must be legally able to enter this agreement; if you are under the age of majority, a parent or guardian must approve your use.
The service
Stio Listen provides audio fiction for personal, noncommercial listening. The free experience may include a daily listening allowance and an optional rewarded ad. The catalog, features, and regional availability may change as rights expire or the service evolves.
Safe listening
Stay alert while walking, cycling, driving, or operating equipment. Follow local law, keep volume at a safe level, and do not use noise-isolating audio when full awareness is required. You are responsible for deciding when listening is safe.
Premium subscriptions
Premium is an automatically renewing subscription sold through Apple App Store or Google Play. The store purchase screen displays the current price, billing period, taxes, and any trial before you confirm. Unless canceled through your store account before renewal, the store charges the next period. Restoration, cancellation, and refund requests are governed by the applicable store and law.
Content and intellectual property
Stories, recordings, artwork, music, software, and Stio branding are owned by Stio or licensed rightsholders and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, nontransferable right to use the service for personal listening. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, scrape, bypass access controls, remove rights notices, or use content to train another model unless you have express written permission.
Narration and content notices
Some stories may use synthetic or AI-assisted narration, translation, or production. Where required, the app or catalog identifies synthetic voice use. You may report quality, safety, age-rating, or rights concerns through support.
Acceptable use
Do not interfere with the service, probe for vulnerabilities, automate abusive traffic, impersonate another person, submit unlawful material, or use the service in a way that infringes rights or harms others. We may restrict access needed to address security, fraud, legal, or rights issues.
Third-party services
App stores, payment services, advertising providers, analytics services, and linked websites operate under their own terms and policies. Stio is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
Availability and disclaimers
We work to keep Stio Listen reliable, but the service is provided on an “as available” basis. Playback may be interrupted by networks, device settings, maintenance, or rights changes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties that cannot reasonably apply to a digital content service. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
Liability and changes
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. We may update these terms and will post a new date; material changes may also be communicated in the app or website. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms, where permitted.
